This is the first time I just sort of started playing with paint and large brushes. Years ago I would have had to plan it all out on paper before approaching a large work, but I just went with it and got what I got. It was a freeing experience for me to work with a large brush and wide, gestural marks.
*I don't feel that this painting is completed, it turned out kind of muddy, so I would like to work back into it and bring out some more contrast*
