Various paintings from March till the end of April 2012. Lisa Spinelli. Acrylic, liquid medium, and gloss gel on canvas. Advanced Studio, University of Lethbridge. These square paintings were a continuation of the same process used in the
Glimpse into the Self Series. Can I communicate inner emotions through colour and mark-making, or am I just making paintings about the act of painting, making reference to the history of abstraction? I just experimented and this is what I ended up with! And that was my process.
Nice works Lisa!
