In this series I wanted to get other people involved in my journal project. I was thinking about the history of journaling, and how keeping a diary is largely viewed as a female-dominated practice in our North American culture. It was nice to do something communal and send out a call for journal submissions in order to bring life to this series. A journal can say a lot about an individual, but can these images of journals stand in as a portrait of a person? |
